Hello, Strawberry! Thanks for being a contributor to Mix Tape! We'll begin posting on Monday, but before we get started, here are a couple of rules for being a contributor with us:
1. All titles must be capitalized and in a 101, 102, 103 format: ie, ART 101, 102, .... MUSIC 101, 102, ... MOVIES... TV... FOOD... NEWS...FASHION... POETRY... The reason for this is because having unique titles for each entry for a blog with so many topics would be very chaotic, and this is a way we can remain organized and easily accessible to the blogging community.
2. Please, do not submit your own works that should be showcased on your own blog, ie. artwork, poetry, fanfictions.
3. Write in such a way that you assume no one knows what you're talking about when you introduce a television show, a movie, a news article, a book, etc, so that everyone can be on the same page. However, don't insult our readers by actually saying that they probably don't know this/that topic! :)
4. To keep a sense of quality, your posts may be edited for punctuation, grammar, even the deletion of unnecessary content/comments. Please don't hold it against the admins (Lizzie and Abs) if this happens to you! Advice: try posting your draft a few days early if possible so we can review it and come to a consensus on how we'd both like to word your entry.
Failure to abide by these rules will result in immediate removal of your position as a contributor. We'd hate to have to do that to anyone, so please, review these rules carefully and follow them correctly. Thank you!
